Tennessee Town Businesses
Although Tennessee Town historically has been a residential neighborhood, retail development has been present for some time. From the tudor-styled Dibble's grocery store and adjacent businesses that preceded Dillon's Store #58 in the 1400 block of SW Huntoon (the WCW Property Management building across the street shows the tudor styling) to the businesses that occupy large houses along SW 10th Ave. and the various nonprofits that dot the neighborhood, Tennessee Town has been business friendly.
In 2014 and beyond, Tennessee Town seeks to remain business friendly, particularly through the creation and nurturing of small businesses that would bring tax dollars and jobs to the neighborhood and city.
